WP-83 power supply for RCA TK-42 color tv camera
Good news: Here's the power supply/CCU for an RCA TK-42! Bad news: No TK-42!! Anyone got a TK-42? I presume these power supplies are more rare than the actual TK-42s, but It's useless since it didn't come with one.
It consists of four rack mount frames which I have almost all the modules for, as you can see. I have a bin with more of the modules, and there are many multiples of the same modules. If you need any replacement modules for your TK-42 power supply/CCU, let me know and I can try to find them for you!
I believe they are stacked how they would be originally. From top to bottom: On the top, there is the main DC power supply for the unit. Next, there is a power line filter. Next, are the color processing modules. And last, I believe is the main high voltage supplies to the camera. Correct me if any of that was wrong.
On the back, there are many UHF jacks for inputs and outputs, and the camera connector. Check out that wiring job! with all four frames stacked one top of each other like you see here, the whole thing weighs well over 200 pounds. There are several transformers in the modules, which adds to the weight a lot. Look at the massive transformer on the main power supply module!!
