1980 Toshiba IK-1850 Auto focus color camera

Here we see the first video camera to have auto focus. Toshiba: again, the first. You can see the large box on the lens, which contains the auto focus sensor, and motor to drive the auto focus. There's an auto/manual/semi. auto switch on the box. I'm not sure what "semi. auto" does. Uses a 2/3 inch vidicon, and produces over 260 lines of resolution. Power switch and WB controls on the back. It has the original microphone on the top which I believe was an accessory, and and wasn't with it when it came. The handle folds down for transportation, and gets tiring holding up the camera with it. I have two of these, and I got them at the ETF 2025 convention. After a guy heard the introduction to my presentation, he told me that he had two Toshiba IK-1850s in his car that he didn't want, and I bought them from him. Thank you, tapes1982!!

They both work great, except the lens on one has a back focus issue.
