1979 Sony HVC-1000 consumer color camera

I believe this was Sony's first consumer color camera, made around 1979. As you can see, it has a very unusual design, with the handle being mounted in a little cut out portion of the side of the camera. The handle has two fixed positions, one is straight down pointed vertically, and the other is pointed diagonally. There are white balance controls on the side, and it has an optical viewfinder. There's also a mic jack on the handle side of the camera. The zoom lens is not very powerfull, and doesn't zoom far at all. But, it works great! It came in it's original case, also.
